2026 SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Chattanooga AFWA's mission is to enable women in all accounting and related fields to achieve their full personal, professional and economic potential and to contribute to the future development of their profession.
Chattanooga AFWA is made up of all different types of professionals (you do not have to be a woman to be a member!) in the Chattanooga area involved in Accounting and Finance fields.
Annually, Chattanooga AFWA funds multiple scholarships to local members and non-members for both undergraduate and graduate programs - there are no gender stipulations to the application process.
We are happy to announce the application window for scholarships is now open! Deadline to apply is March 15, 2026.
Please include one or two Endorsement forms per application.
Undergraduate Scholarships – To support the costs of attending 3rd, 4th or 5th year towards an accounting or finance degree.
Master’s Degree Scholarships – To support the costs of attending a master’s program towards an accounting or finance degree.

AFWA National Scholarship Opportunities
Through stewardship, The Foundation promotes and advances women in accounting and finance by cultivating relationships, securing contributions, and providing scholarships for education and career development. We believe that to decrease barriers for women in the accounting and financial profession, education and access to career development resources are essential. The Foundation aims to ensure women will have the tools and resources to achieve every career success they desire.
Scholarships are available for Non-Members in both Finance and Accounting Scholarships in both Undergraduate and Graduate programs.
Scholarships are available for Members for Certifications, Undergraduate Scholarships, PhD Scholarships, National Dues Reimbursements for Unemployed Members, and Disaster Relief Dues Reimbursements
